Nobody pays to look.

The student taking a lease over is never charged, at any point. The student handing one off pays once, and only once somebody has actually asked about their place.

Free, and not the trial kind

  • Search every listing, filter it and save what you like
  • Keep a search and be told when something new fits it
  • Post your own lease, with photos and terms
  • Send interest to as many places as you want
  • Be told the moment somebody is interested in yours
  • Invite a parent or co-signer onto your lease

The Access Pass

One thing costs money: replying to the students who ask about your listing. That is the moment the product has actually done something, so that is the moment it charges.

  • Reply to everyone who asks about your listing, not one of them
  • Release the exact address when you decide somebody is right
  • Run the five steps of the handoff in the thread
  • It is not a listing fee. Posting is free whether anybody asks or not.
  • It is not per person. One pass covers every conversation on that listing.
  • It is not a subscription. It runs its window and stops.

The clock starts when you send your first reply, not when you pay. Buy it on a Sunday, answer somebody on Wednesday, and you have lost nothing.

How long do you need

The only difference between these is the length of the window. None of them limits how many people you talk to, and none of them unlocks a feature the others do not have.

  • 14 days$25Enough for a fast match, if your dates are already close.
  • 30 daysMost take this$40What a takeover usually takes, application and office included.
  • 60 days$60Booking early, or handing over a lease that ends next term.

A pass covers one listing. A parent running two students buys two, which is also why a Co-Pilot can pay for the one they are helping with.

Why this side pays

Somebody looking for a place to live in January is not the person with money to spare. The person carrying a lease they cannot afford has a number in front of them every month, and a reason to want this over with. Charging the searcher would also give us a reason to keep them searching, which is the opposite of the job.
